Matthew Miglio
Self-taught developer who lives and breathes code. Since 2020, programming has been my lifestyle. By day, I work at Magna Electronics developing advanced applications for next-generation vehicle technology. By night, I code personal projects and build websites for clients.
60+ hours a week across it all. My GitHub shows the story: daily commits, no gaps, just growth.
My Journey
I started coding in 2020 out of curiosity and to solve a problem. Haven't stopped since. I love solving puzzles and building systems that work, whether for fun, clients, or automotive applications.
I code daily. My GitHub shows consistent commits with no gaps. I've been pushing personal projects since 2022, from game automation to AI web platforms. I enjoy it and work full-time at Magna Electronics building software for vehicles.
I also freelance, building websites for clients, friends, and family. This brings me to 60+ coding hours per week. I work with various technologies and constantly improve my tools and workflows.
I approach development as a lifestyle. I build things, learn constantly, and engineer solutions. Still have a lot more to accomplish.
Education

Kettering University
Bachelor of Science, Computer Science
Foundational training in database design, algorithm development and optimization, software engineering methodologies including Agile and SDLC practices. Emphasized collaborative development, technical communication, version control, and industry-standard approaches to system architecture and project management.
Core Values
Clean Code
Code is read far more than it's written. I craft each function like it's a love letter to future maintainers—including future me.
Performance First
Every millisecond matters. Users shouldn't wait for poorly optimized code, and neither should servers. Speed is a feature.
Collaboration
I excel in both collaborative team environments and independent projects, adapting my approach to what the situation demands for optimal results.
